Ministry Partner Communications Coordinator
15-20 hours/week initially, fully remote, flexible part-time
Our Ministry Partner Communications Coordinators have the joy of working directly with our clients to maintain their websites, manage their e-newsletters and social media, and generally assist them with growing their ministry by supporting their individual communications needs.
And you get to do all this while having the freedom to work from home or whatever space you choose. At the same time, you will be a core member of our tight-knit team, having access to our designers, developers, and copywriters to offer assistance when needed.
Throughout our more than twelve years in business, we have embraced our call in church and ministry communications. We exhibit the same level of care for our team members as we do our partners.
A successful candidate will have previous experience working in a communications role in a mainline protestant church or ministry organization. More importantly, the candidate is someone who LOVES working with people and is extremely organized.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- 3-5 years working in a church, ministry, or non-profit communications role
- Mailchimp and/or Constant Contact
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Writing, editing and proofreading with demonstrated mastery of grammar, punctuation and AP Style
Bonus qualifications and experience:
- Adobe Creative Suite or similar
- Pay-per-click advertising
- Video editing
- Live Streaming video production
- G Suite/Google Workspace
- Previous experience working remotely
Work hours are flexible as you will establish a working calendar with clients. We have brief, weekday team meetings that you’ll be required to attend. Our operating hours are 9AM – 5PM Central weekdays, some weekend support may be required. Communications Coordinators start at $18-20/hour and work 15-20 hours/week. This opportunity has the potential to transition into a full-time position.
