Palms Presbyterian Church wanted people to feel encouraged to visit, attend and join, with a clear idea of what to expect when they arrived. That welcome needed to reach preschool families as well as worshipers. Visitors should be able to find important information quickly, without searching or scrolling too much.
Those needs guided the new website. We used beach photos and colors to create a friendly feel and designed the navigation around helping people get to know the church and preschool. Useful details throughout the site help someone considering worship or preschool enrollment feel welcomed and informed before taking the next step.
Keeping people informed also depends on keeping information current. Homepage sliders highlight upcoming events and give Palms a way to keep its content fresh. The site was designed to be easy to update, so the church could continue sharing what makes its community special.
When that work presents questions or challenges, the communications director has help. We assist with website updates, solve problems and take on tasks the director needs support with. We also post to Palms’ social media accounts three times a week. Together, that ongoing support helps the church maintain the clear, welcoming communication it wanted visitors to experience.
