Decatur Presbyterian Church

Decatur came to Worship Times with an older website that didn’t meet their current needs.

“It was difficult to understand who we are, what we stand for, our involvement in the community.”

The previous site was:

• Not mobile friendly
• Intended audience of the website is not clear

• Not educational about who Decatur Presbytery is

They wanted a website that was up to date, helpful, fresh, easy, professional, clear with the following goals in mind.

• Ease of access to Member and Giving portal

• DPC google calendar of events and activities

They wanted a website for visitors to have a clear picture about who we are, what services, programs, and ministry opportunities available to them, and to feel knowledgeable about how and when to get there, where to park, how to get in the building, etc. They wanted visitors to find easily the info they are seeking and be intrigued by content to know more about DPC.

Decatur Presbytery faced challenges in clearly communicating their identity and community involvement through their previous website, which was not mobile-friendly and lacked clarity regarding its intended audience and purpose. They sought a modern, professional site that would make a great first impression and effectively convey information about upcoming events, sermons, blogs, and social media integration. Key goals included easy access to member and giving portals, forms, and a Google Calendar of events, as well as providing visitors with essential details about services, programs, and logistics for visiting the church.

We successfully delivered a user-friendly website that meets these needs, ensuring visitors can easily find the information they seek while feeling engaged with DPC’s offerings. We continue to support them with ongoing assistance and Google Ads management.
