Live Streaming
Through live streaming, churches can reach a wider audience, extending their message of faith to individuals beyond their local congregation.
We’re always honored when a longtime partner continues our partnership with a new website. We’ve had the privilege of working with Wilton Presbyterian Church since 2017. While the original site we created for them was still functioning fine five years later, they began to consider the possibilities of a refresh – an updated layout, improved navigation, and other enhanced features to better support their community.
A professionally created website can serve a church well for many years, but technology evolves – and eventually, an upgrade becomes essential. Plug-ins and tools that once powered a site may become outdated. Moving to a new platform, then, isn’t just a technical necessity; it’s also a valuable opportunity to refresh the media library, archive outdated content, and reorganize current information to make it more accessible and user-friendly.
‘A website is not meant to be an archive,’ our project manager explains. Over time, churches tend to accumulate online content that can be challenging to organize and manage. Large files can slow a site down and need to be purged or stored in more appropriate places.
Because this congregation reached out before a new site was absolutely necessary, they were able to take their time thoughtfully designing the new one. Over the course of two years, three pastors and a project manager collaborated closely with our team – brainstorming ideas, assessing needs, testing designs, and making intentional group decisions. The result is a new website that serves them even better than before.
One of the biggest shifts since Wilton’s original site launched has been the rise of live-streaming and video content. To keep up with how people now engage online, it was essential for the new site to include high-performing YouTube integrations. Visitors can attend services virtually, watch recent recordings directly on the site, or easily link to Wilton’s full YouTube channel.
Another standout upgrade that excited the congregation is the homepage video slider. This dynamic banner cycles through vibrant images that showcase the energy and involvement of the community. It acts as a welcoming digital front door – inviting visitors to step inside and experience life at Wilton.
Site users can easily learn about and sign up for volunteer opportunities, access newsletters and announcements, read about ministries, services and classes, and utilize a Google-integrated calendar of events. Vibrant photography on every page makes it clear this is an active, inter-generational church family making a difference in their community. Crisp photos also illustrate the beauty of their shared, ten-acre campus.
After several years of working together, we’re grateful Wilton Presbyterian Church trusted us to help them take their online ministry to the next level.
