Presbytery of Scioto Valley

We’ve been a partner with the Presbytery of Scioto Valley since 2016. As many mid-level judicatories, they had a great deal of documents, forms, and resources. The first site completed in 2017 was a great step in getting them organized and offering a place to tell their story through blogs, newsletter, and other communications.

In 2022, The Presbytery of Scioto Valley decided they wanted an updated version of their website. They wanted a newer theme that allowed for a fresh overhaul in their color scheme and focused on their events, resources, and Presbytery meetings.

We updated their website by condensing much of their existing content into an easier to navigate framework consisting of our publications tool for documents and resources along with our internal events system for the easy addition of meetings, etc. to their website calendar. They also wanted to focus on news and social media by including icon links well placed and quickly accessible.

They needed a membership directory of their congregations that was searchable and convenient for their churches, pastors, and more. Our developers implemented a searchable database, map, and directory of churches.

They also required an internal system for forms and registrations. Many of their presbytery events and meetings need registration forms with a way to pay online.

There’s little surprise that the Presbytery of Scioto Valley’s website is strong in the resource department! They use our publications tool to effectively provide resources to their churches. They also use a combination of the events system with publications to provide all documents and forms for their presbytery meetings. And our membership directory tool is utilized as their church directory.

At the launch of the new site, they added on a remote assistance agreement with the Presbytery. We maintain and edit their current website, often aiding in the organization of their resource and meeting documents, create new pages and content, and advise on best practices and website strategies. They are currently going through a restructuring, and we are actively working on ensuring the website gets updated accordingly.
