Audio

Worship Times offers a custom tool designed for ministries to post their worship service audio files, podcasts, choir specials, and more.

The benefits for adding audio files to your Worship Times site include:

Accessibility: Audio files allow people to engage with sermons, discipleship series, guest speakers, music, and other content even if they are unable to attend in person. This is particularly valuable for individuals who are homebound, traveling, or unable to participate.
Flexibility: Audio files provide flexibility for listeners to consume content at their convenience. They can listen to sermons or teachings while commuting, exercising, or performing household tasks, allowing them to incorporate spiritual nourishment into their daily routines.
Inclusivity: Audio files cater to individuals with visual impairments or literacy challenges who may find it easier to engage with content through auditory means. By offering audio versions of sermons and teachings, the church ensures that its message is accessible to a diverse range of people.
Archiving: Hosting audio files on the website creates an archive of past sermons and teachings, allowing listeners to access and revisit previous messages at any time. This is beneficial for members who want to review content, share messages with others, or catch up on missed services.
Outreach: Audio files can be easily shared on social media platforms, email newsletters, and other digital channels, extending the reach of the church’s message beyond its physical location. This enables the church to connect with individuals who may not be familiar with the church or who live outside its local community.
Multisensory Experience: All publication records have the advantage of combining audio, visual, and textual elements, providing a multisensory experience for viewers. This can enhance comprehension, retention, and engagement with the message being delivered.
Enhanced Engagement: Some people may find it easier to connect with and absorb messages through audio formats. Hosting audio files on the website provides an additional avenue for engagement and allows listeners to immerse themselves in the content without the distractions of visual stimuli.

A note about audio and video files. While it is technically possible to add these types of files to your website media database if they’re small enough, we do not recommend it, as these larger file types will quickly slow down your site. For audio files we recommend creating an Amazon S3 storage account and uploading MP3s there. For video files, we recommend uploading to YouTube or Vimeo than pasting the link in your Publications.
